About Me

Hi! My name is Ray Eason aka Lord Slayer.

I’ve been playing video games ever since I was 10 or 11 years old.

My very first video game console was a Gemini Coleco Vision.

But, when I was about 12, my cousins got a Nintendo Entertainment system, and I had to have one.

I begged my mom for one of my own.

So when I graduated from Elementary school into Jr High, I got one as a present!

I was so freaking happy!

My NES came with two games and four controllers:

My favorite games of all time were:

The Legend of Zelda changed my life. I could no longer trust the real world.

I learned to question everything in my life and never take anything for granted or at face value.

Zelda taught me that magic existed and that being a Hero saving a Princess was hella cool!

Even in real life!

But the game that changed my life the most, was Final Fantasy.

I have played Final Fantasy I through IX (9).

Final Fantasy picked up where The Legend of Zelda left off.

I learned about elementals, magick, heroes, white wizards, black and red wizards (yes, there’s a difference), mages, summoners, and callers.

Final Fantasy taught me the law of magick and elemental opposites (Fire beats Earth, but Water beats Fire).

In my opinion, Sephiroth was the best bad guy EVER!

Cloud Strife was just like Link… a Hero. Someone who wanted to save his friends and make the world a better place to live in.

Never let anyone tell you video games are a waste of time

Because the right videos, are amazing and will change your life.
